As our biggest soybean export customer, China doesn't just buy beans:
They buy oil and protein.
Consider these five facts:
- Buyers such as China and other export customers demand soybeans with 19 percent oil and 35 percent protein.
- If we can't supply them, someone else will.
- A typical soybean exported from some South American competitors has close to 1 percent higher protein and over 1 percent higher oil than the average U.S. soybean.
- Soybeans with low oil and protein bring lower prices.
- There's no reason to sacrifice yield for oil and protein – select varieties that have it all.
Make sure your beans are the world's best.
Talk to your seed dealer about high-yielding varieties with at least 19 percent oil and 35 percent protein.
